Central City Water Department

Water rates are currently set by Ordinance No. 764. The City of Central City owns and operates the water distribution system.

Rates:

(1) Customer Rate.............................................................$11.00 - per month
	(Minimum Charge)
	
(2) Consumption Rate -billed quarterly in Apr, Jul, Oct, Jan

		15,000 to 50,000 gallons, per 1000 gallons, per quarter...........$ 1.53
		
		Over 50,000 gallons, per 1000 gallons, per quarter................$ 1.46
		
The consumption rate is based on quarterly water consumption. The customer rate is the
minimum charge for service, which includes the first 15,000 gallons consumed for the 
quarter. The customer rate shall be paid monthly. The consumption rate shall be paid
quarterly.
